I caught this 27 inch 7+ lb Rainbow on a 4wt rod and a 6X Frog Hair Tippet. I landed the fish with a ton of pressure in a weedy lake and since I'm holding her is the proof that the tippet didn't break. Thanks for paying attention during science classes.

The strike indicator retainers are a valuable tool when fishing with costly intruder style tube flies. When my hook has snagged a tree in a deep pool and I pull on the line to release the fly, the hook breaks from the tippet and the retainers keep the tube on the line! Excellent product!
